Derek Scudder, Liberal Democrat Spokesperson on Waste said: 'We agree that the New Barnfield site is unsuitable for any sort of waste management facility. The Liberal Democrat group at County hall has consistently opposed the use of the site and on a number of occasions has put forward motions to that effect. The ruling Tory group has always voted these down.

Anti-fascist campaigners were out in force in Adeyfield West this morning, joined by Dr Richard Grayson, Hemel Hempstead's Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate. Together, they delivered leaflets to the entire ward encouraging people to use their vote against the BNP in Thursday's Dacorum Borough Council by-election.

n a press release issued by Herts County Councils on secondary school places, it was announced that 95.48% of children had been allocated one of their ranked schools - up 2.63 per cent from 2009.

Dr Richard Grayson, Hemel Hempstead's Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate, has pledged 'no return to cruelty' by saying that he will safeguard the current hunting ban. He is supporting campaigns run by both IFAW in Action and the League Against Cruel Sports.

A short film featuring Dr Richard Grayson saying why he should be Hemel's next MP has gone live on the winkball.com site. Winkball want to post a film from each candidate in every constituency in the general election and have invited all parliamentary candidates from Hemel. Richard Grayson was the first Hemel Hempstead candidate to respond and make his film which was shot in Westminster earlier today.
