Slower Speeds outside Schools

Lib Dem councillors have been pushing for 20mph limits outside our schools for years.

Now, with Lib Dems leading on Highways at the County Council, things are moving. The council has promised to
speed up the 20mph rollout - asking residents first, because this only goes ahead if it works for the community. Main roads like the A414 and Midland Road will stay the same. But smaller residential roads — including Broadfield and Hobletts — could be made safer quickly.
