Boxmoor Community Plan

Boxmoor Cllrs

The Fishery Road crossing and traffic calming has shown the benefits of building up infrastructure projects from the grass roots through resident consultation.  Showing that capturing a collective local voice is important for Boxmoor's long term needs to be met.

To access funding we want to develop a community plan evidencing residents' wishes and the need for particular schemes. This will build on the traffic analysis we developed in 2020 and data from the Drive Safe Scheme councillors have run in Green End Road and Gravel Hill Terrace. This summer, we have run three Neighbourhood Action Groups to capture residents' views and over the summer we will be door-knocking in key areas to reach out for further resident opinion.

The Community Plan will have three strands:

  • Road safety and parking
  • Community Assets and Local Business
  • Open Spaces and Footpaths

We look forward to talking to you on the doorstep about our resident surveys. In the meantime to input into the community plan, please email Boxmoor Clrs Willian Allen, Simy Dhani and County Councillor Adrian England at Boxmoorcouncillors@gmail.com
