VE Day in Hemel

A commemoration of the sacrifice the whole British people gave for freedom and democracy and a celebration of the peace that followed will be happening on Thursday 8th May (VE day).
A long-standing commitment for VE Day between Dacorum Council and the Royal British Legion will be held on 8 May (VE Day) at Boxmoor War Memorial as planned
All Hemel residents are invited to attend.
28th June Armed Forces Day will be marked from 11am to 3:30pm in the Market Square. An event for VJ Day (end of the war) is also planned.
