Court Ruling Shows Mass Spying on British People Must End

Responding to the Investigatory Powers Tribunal ruling yesterday which found that UK security agencies unlawfully collected data of British citizens for over a decade, Liberal Democrat Home Affairs Spokesperson Alistair Carmichael said: "Allowing the state to collect endless amounts of personal data is not just a gross invasion of a privacy, it is a waste of precious resources.

Extensive Roadworks Planned in and around Tring

Please note that extensive work is planned covering a stretch of about 2 miles of the B488 Icknield Way, Tring starting on 31st October, 2016. The length affected will stretch from the A41 Tring Bypass roundabout down to the New Mill roundabout. The work will be done in stages but it is likely there will be considerable disruption at times.

Roadworks Done and Planned. "Sorry for the Inconvenience - but it's better than Potholes!"

With winter on it's way there is a flurry of activity on the roads in and around Tring at the moment. Most of it involves what highways folk refer to as "patching". Pothole repair consists of temporary filling in with soft material - a "quick fix" if you like - though the contractors are not always quick to get there! In addition these temporay patches oftren have to be done again 2 or three times.
